Who am I? What do I do?Submitted by Margaret Bennett on November 28th, 2016
Hi, thanks for visiting my site. I'm a financial security advisor helping you create financial wellness. Don't run away, it's not that scary! I offer a full range of solutions based on your specific goals. I believe that our financial security has both offensive and defensive strategies. Offense to help you accumulate wealth, build your legacy and meet your goals – buying a house, sending kids to school, building a business, retiring or whatever financial security means to you. Defense to make sure that when the unexpected happens – an illness/injury, death, job loss or other events – it has a minimal impact on you, your family, your business, your savings or your legacy.
We all know you can't have a team that relies solely on offense or defense so we have to make those two parts work together. I work with you to understand what's important to you. I know money can sometimes be a source of stress, anxiety and embarrassment. But it can also be a source of pride, joy and gratitude, so I want to help you feel confident about your situation so you can find financial wellness.
My offices are in Toronto, with access to office space in Mississauga, Burlington and Hamilton, and I am flexible about how we can work together. I have access to a team of specialists who can help create a comprehensive financial security plan for your specific situation. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Insurance (life, critical illness, disability)
- Investments and savings (RRSPs, RESPs, TFSAs, non-registered savings)
- Mortgages (through in-house mortgage services and term insurance to protect your mortgage)
- Group and business insurance
- Strategies to ensure tax efficiency of investment plans
If you have a plan in place, I encourage you to make sure you can answer some basic questions about your plan so that if the unexpected happens (good or bad) you know you're prepared. I hope we can have the opportunity to meet so I can share with you how I can help you to feel well about your financial situation.
